Learner Assessment Contract

For Training the Trainer between McMaster Institute CC & The Learner

This learner assessment contract serves to formalise the mutual agreement between you, the learner, and McMaster Institute. Both parties hereby acknowledge the content of this document and confirm that any queries directed to the facilitator have been adequately addressed to the learner's satisfaction. Should you have any further questions, we encourage you to seek clarification on the significance of this learning contract. It is the learner's responsibility to inquire at any stage of the learning journey to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the course requirements in alignment with the pertinent unit standards. Your readiness is pivotal to the success of this program.

Criteria Brief Description
Learner Course Guide I hereby confirm my understanding and acceptance of the Learner Course Guide, and I have thoroughly reviewed its entire contents. I also acknowledge my awareness of the pre-reading requirement that precedes each learning module. Engaging in pre-reading is essential in preparing me for active participation in the learning process.
Assessment Plan I agree on how, when, and what I will be assessed against being the applicable two SAQA Unit standards:

Perform one-to-one training on the job SAQA US ID No. 117877. NQF
Facilitate using given methodologies SAQA US ID No. 117871. NQF Level 5

As well as the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders involved. I also understand the assessment process and requirements for the compilation of the POE- Portfolio of Evidence.

Please confirm that you have understood the criteria below:

POE Submission
  • - The course standard is 3 months after course completion.
  • - All submissions need to be done electronically.
  • - Written Feedback will be provided 2 months after submission via email.
  • - As the learner you must demonstrate Authenticity - (this means it is your work – remember the declaration that you get signed at the front stands for all work that follows in the POE – this means that you may not copy any documents from McMaster Institute unless permission has been granted for duplication.
  • - Once feedback has been received you are required to sign off feedback. The expectation is that you have done all feedback forms required by McMaster Institute.
  • - If declared NYC, then you as the learner have exactly 30 days for remediation once feedback has been given.
  • - If you do not return your remediation within 30 days. McMaster Institute will have the right to a fee of R875 for the assessment booking.
